Okay Edward’s struggling with his desire to be with Bella and not kill her. He thinks it’s selfish for her to give up her mortality to be with him, eventhough he wants to be with her forever, Eclipse p. 273 “For me to allow this – to let you become what I am just so that I’ll never have to lose you – is the most self act I can imagine. I ant it more than anything for myself. But for you, I want so much more. Giving in – it feels criminal. It’s the most self thing I’ll ever do, even if I live forever. AHHHHHHHHHHH
How romantic is that? Okay so he’s a sacrificer, full of ethics and moral, he doesn’t want to take her virtue, or her soul. What about the last scene in the book, do you think it’s consistent with his characters develoment? p.617-619.

nope not at all i think maybe the stress of think he lost bella and and then running from the voltori and the constant pressure that he feels because of the ever winding clock the voutori have givin him to turn her because she knows so much about vampires i can only hope this is true becasue it would show he’s abit more human than we might have realised
of course maybe he’s just being selfish and has finally lost his “god” status even if its for a moment and become more like a real male and decided to be self indulgant and selfish
or it could be he was just giving her a chance to say no so that she would see that she does want the whole human life deal marriage and the honey moon and all that
maybe some one needs to ask mrs. meyers why she wrote it this way id love to know what she was thinking
