She comes across as a very strong character. She’s willing to sacrifice her own happiness for her mom. She’s intelligent, or at least book smart. She’s not overly confident or cocky, which appeals to most of us. But she’s totally lacking self-control or conviction. The fact that she even persues a relationship with a guy that gives her death looks and warns her to stay away proves she a bit unstable. Yes he saved her twice (the whole Florence Nightenegale thing). Fine but as I think about it more and more it just seems as though she is really inconsistent and hopelessly flawed. … Yes so are we, I’m not condemning her or saying she’s not worth loving or anything. My point is if she’s so much like the rest of us why do we love her so much? She’s really not all that extraordinary, she’s not as selfless as she initially seems. So why do you love her?

because she is so like us we are able to see her self as her in a llife and world that has a bit of the extordinary as well as all of the ordinary. she is just as flawed and unstable of the rest of us but her she gets to be dance on friends with vampires and werewolfves. her utter dependance on jacob and edward give her a bit of an injured kitten persona and only makes us fall for her even more.
